What they need is hitting. Already the sox have wasted a lot of games where if their offense was able to hit on the road theyd have won. With ortiz out for god knows how long, and with the worry of youkilis's second half slide the sox need a bat. Lot of bats will be on the market and the sox need to pounce. |

Dunn, Griffey are both available. The bigger problem is where do you play these guys? The outfield is crowded with Manny, ellsbury and drew, I guess you could take some bats away from drew. the infield really only lugo can be upgraded and that will be ahrd to do to get a offensive ss. Youkilis if he slides can have some at bats taken away but you already have casey. If ortiz is out then yes I agree you need a hitter it is jsut hard on this team to find the space.
