Even MORE cheating?  (+2)

Anyone know if these rumors about the pats putting microphones on players to get the snap count are true? It is so ridiculous that they cheated to begin with but if these new rumors are true then they should get their rings taken away

i agree cheating has no place in comptetiive sports. But the fact of the matter is, i bet almost all teams cheat in as many ways as they think can get away with. The benefits simply outweigh the costs in a multibillion dollar industry in which people want to see the best possible product on the field. If you're not willing to cheat to win, then you'll be out before you know it and somebody willing to cheat will be in there. Cheating makes you better and you playing better is more fun and attractive for fans to waatch, which is why the NFL exists, to make money. So whats the incentie for the NFL to actually pusue and punish cheaters?? They basically will be taking money of their own pockets. as they say, if you're not cheating, you're not trying

I agree cheating should not allowed or tolerated , but to go back three plus years and take back rings is harsh.

The problem is that the Pats got caught and the others didn't ... The NFL will make an example of the Pats the other teams

will get the hint and this will stop for some period of time till the league decides to look into some other issue.

To me there is a big difference between what the pats have been found guilty of doing and these new rumors of miking players. If they are using audio in game to get signs and disrupting the opposing QB's in helmet communication then they need to be punished very severely. And I am sorry but I think IF they are found to have done these new things then that will be enough to tarnish the superbowl victories.
